New Small Block Chevy Hugger Tight-fit Headers, Polished Stainless Steel, Hot Rod

Note: Refer to measurement chart below to insure headers will fit your vehicle and application. 1-5/8" primaries to 2-1/2" Collectors. Nice Choice to replace cast iron exhaust manifolds. Includes gaskets and mounting hardware.

Polished Stainless Steel to resist early corrosion. Fits standard exhaust port Small Block Chevy heads that have angle spark plugs.

Can be used with most oil filter systems and transmission/starter combinations. Does not fit'55-'57 Chevy cars, Camaros, or other modern vehicles which have a crossmember below the engine's center two exhaust ports. Works with both straight and angle plugs. The port openings on the headers are round and work on heads with round or rectangle ports. Stainless header tubing when exposed to exhaust temperature will cause the finish to change color which will vary with the exhaust temperatures.

Please note that the finish of the header when the engine is started will change to a light champagne color to a darker gold finish and in some instance may even turn dark blue or purple. This can be polished out when utilizing Blue-away or Simi-chrome polish, but please note that when the headers reach running temperature, they may change color again. Please refer to the header measurement chart below to make sure the header will fit your vehicle and application before ordering. Use care when trial fitting headers. Repack them well to prevent damage returning them to us.
